Alyssa learning to ride her bike

Birthday Party

Alyssa got to go to an awesome birthday party for her friend Jesi. They got to ride horses and she had a great time!

Brushing the horse

Time to ride!

Alyssa even talked me into taking a ride!

Field Trips

Both girls went on class field trips this fall. First up was Lainey. I got to go with her to a field trip to an apple orchard

Alyssa went on a field trip to Southeastway Park and it was all about bugs. She really wanted Ryan to go since she thought he would like bugs more (how right she was!). Luckily, he was able to get off work and had a great time on his first field trip!

Florida

I went to Florida without the hubby & girls to celebrate my Aunt Kay's wedding reception. No, wait, it was to celebrate Kuebler Christmas. No, well, I went to Florida and got to see all my aunts & uncles & cousins. Here are some pics with the sis

The Kuebler Siblings
Erik & Debi win the dress-up game!

I don't think Erik was in any hurry to take off his winning outfit!

I missed my family, but I at least got to bond with my cousins' babies.

Fall Sports

This Fall, Alyssa has been playing softball, and Lainey has been playing soccer. They are both doing very well, and I'm having tons of fun watching their games (I'm trying to be more quiet so that I don't get a reputation as the crazy screaming lady).

Bug Fest 2010

Ryan takes the girls to Bug Fest at Southeastway Park every year. I went for the first time last year. And, Uncle Moose, Aunt Kari, Eli & Isaac joined us this year. It was a really hot day, but we still had lots of fun. First up, bed bugs...

Below are the crazy kids letting a tarantula crawl on them

Ryan let it crawl on him too - he doesn't look very tough in this picture
I don't know what I love more, the look of fear on Aunt Kari's face, or the look of concern on Lainey's face in the background
Here's a better view of what those crazy people let crawl on them

Now, for a more civilized activity... eating crickets

Or, if you prefer, cricket suckers - YUM!
