Pumpkin Painting

As you can see from all of the below posts, the girls have collected a lot of pumpkins this year. Rather than carve all of them, I decided to let the girls get creative with the paint.

Such a pretty girl painting a pretty pumpkin
Whew! This is hard work!

Ryan's Company Picnic

This year, DRI's company picnic was at a park in Noblesville. This was one of the coolest parks I've ever seen. Not only did it have multiple playgrounds, but it had a merry-go-round, putt-putt, and even a train that took us to a pumpkin patch. We all had a great time. Here's Alyssa with a scary mask she made.

Alyssa's Field Trip to Russell Farms

Alyssa's Kindergarten class went on a field trip to Russell Farms Pumpkin Patch, and I was fortunate enough to attend. It was a really neat place with lots to do for kids.
Alyssa's bailing hay for fun here... I wonder what we can get her to do "for fun" around our house!

NPUMC Fall Festival & Corn Maze

The girls had a great time at Memaw & Pepaw's Church at this year's Fall Festival.

Afterwards. we went to a corn maze that was open even though it was after dark. Alyssa led the way (which is scary that we were following a 5 year old). This was really fun, but I think we'll go a little earlier next year. Watching "Children of the Corn" didn't help either.

and I don't know what Alyssa's doing - maybe a pumpkin dance? All I know is that we better NOT get her and Uncle Moose in the same room together when he sings the pumpkin pie song.
